With stunning views of Port Phillip Bay, Docklands, Flagstaff Gardens and the CBD, Premier Tower will be one of Melbourne’s tallest towers rising to 78 levels above the city.

The development comprises 780, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, 180 hotel suites and restaurant, indoor / outdoor communal facilities with premium amenities including a pool, gymnasium, private dining and lounge rooms, virtual golf and theatre rooms, and game rooms as well as 147 car spaces and 193 bicycle spaces.

Premier Tower’s Amorphic form aims to conceptually and formally respond to its island-site location and numerous unique contexts and demands. The project endeavors to balance Melbourne’s architectural past with its bright future through the two different sections of the building. The tower element landmarks the Spencer-Bourke corner with its progressive architectural design while the podium section is sympathetic to the adjacent heritage buildings through a simple glass volume design. The tower form is ‘pulled’ at each of the four corners in response to demands for amenity, aspect and view further informing the building silhouette. The geometry and diagonally opposed tower mass responds to first-principles demands from a structural and environmental wind perspective. The building also comprises of a through block link between Spencer street and Godfrey Street adding to Melbourne CBD’s laneway culture.

The communal area concept stems directly from this thinking, as the forces of personality from within express themselves through the design and uses offered throughout in all their varying and independent forms. From the tough and resilient cable-structured gardens and gyms of Level 7; to the showy and glitzy entertainment spaces on Level 46; through to the refined and exclusive luxury of the Library and Premier Club on Level 76, Premier Tower offers an ample variety of uses befitting the diversity of occupants within the building.
