Queen’s Wharf is set to transform Brisbane’s CBD and WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff is proud to be part of Destination Brisbane Consortium’s team on this iconic project.

The project will become an internationally-recognised precinct with world class sustainable urban design and architecture that establishes a clear identity that is uniquely 'Brisbane' and 'Queensland'

It is an Integrated Resort Development, i.e. a high-quality, mixed-use destination aimed at providing tourism, leisure and entertainment facilities that appeal to as broad a demographic as possible, including the international market.

It will connect the defining parts of Brisbane city – the Botanic Gardens, the Queen Street Mall, the Cultural Precinct, South Bank, the Parliamentary Precinct and the Brisbane River.
The redevelopment area is state-owned land, generally located between the Brisbane River and George Street and between Alice and Queen Streets.
The integrated resort development will include:

Landmark buildings:
• The Arc building
• Hotel towers
• Five new premium hotel brands
• An integrated resort with gaming and entertainment facilities

Hundreds of attractions and activities:
• 50 restaurants and bars
• A feature Sky Deck, with restaurants and bars fully accessible to the public
• Dozens of new attractions, including a water and light show, playing in the new River Arena
• A new pedestrian bridge to Southbank
• Riverfront moonlight cinema and Gold Class cinema
• 12 football fields of public event space

Site works are expected to start in 2017.The project is due for completion in 2022
